A Project Manager's Assessment Notification (PMA) is a communication issued by the Project Manager to notify the Contractor of the Project Manager's own assessment of the compensation event. It is issued following non-acceptance of a Contractor's quotation, or when the Contractor failed to submit quotations within the allowed timeframe.

The PMA follows a three step workflow: Initiate > Review > Issue.
